Synchrony Employee Assistance Program (EAP):
Employers can contract with Synchrony to
provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
benefits for their employees. EAP services
include confidential short-term counseling,
assessment, and referral services to employees
and family members. The EAP also offers
employers management services that include
supervisory consultation and training options.
Employee Assistance Program for Employees:
The Employee Assistance Program helps you
resolve personal problems before they negatively
affect your health, relationships with others,
or job performance. The service is an employee benefit that
provides confidential, professional counseling, education
and referral services to you and your family members. EAP staff can meet with you up to six times for assessment
and short term counseling. Referrals can be made
to community services for further assistance
when appropriate and needed. Employees can call to set up an appointment or just call to
talk to a counselor.
The EAP can help you with a variety of issues:
 |
 |
Emotional |
 |
Marital and family |
 |
Other relationship issues |
 |
Financial |
 |
Legal |
 |
Substance abuse |
 |
Work-related concerns |
When you call the EAP, you will speak with an experienced and specially
trained counselor who will assist you in getting the help
you need. If the counselor believes you need
specialized or longer-term counseling, you may be referred to
another qualified professional. The important thing is
that you and your counselor decide on a plan that's right
for you. Synchrony Management Services for Employers:
